Ninjaman
Ninjaman is a legendary dancehall artist known for his lyrical abilities on stage and his on the spot freestyles. The artist, real name Desmond Ballentine, was born on January 20, 1966 in Annotto Bay, Jamaica. He moved to Kingston at the age of 12 and started dabbling in music from the age of 14 when he started deejaying on Black Culture Sound System. His first stage name was Double Ugly, but in 1980 he joined the iconic Killamanjaro sound system and changed his name to Ninjaman.
