Vybz Kartel has taken the opportunity to school Popcaan on dancehall warfare with a new Alkaline diss track “Close Casket.”
The jailed dancehall deejay previewed the gritty diss record on Saturday and delivered it the next day signaling his intentions to fight yet another battle for his former Portmore Empire protege. “Yo know them boy deh weh big and fool fool / From them a go a school never broke a rule / Never broke a fight never bun a spliff / Them a b*tch in a the class everybody hate / Never f*** a gal till him graduate,” Kartel deejay over a beat produced by TJ Records.
Kartel indicated on Instagram that this will be his last time intervening in a war on behalf of Popcaan. “Papi…mi soon stop chop off ppl head fi u… ya gwan like u fraid a some paper soldier,” he wrote. Despite the entire dancehall calling for Popcaan to respond to Alkaline, the Unruly Boss deejay has been radio silent as his camp get pepper with so far two gritty diss tracks branding him as “Microwave.”
The question now is this effort from Vybz Kartel enough to slow down Alkaline’s momentum. So far his song “Microwave” diss song has already amassed over 1 million views on YouTube in just a week after its release.
