Moneybagg Yo is sending some confusing signals about the status of his relationship with Megan Thee Stallion, who is newly single.
Megan Thee Stallion’s been out here proclaiming her single status at the AMAs, but has a secret relationship been under wraps all along? Over the last few weeks, the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper has been linked to a series of men from Khloé Kardashian’s ex, and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, and “Bottoms Up” singer Trey Songz.
Numerous tweets by the 24-year-old to dismiss the whispers didn’t seem to doing the trick, so she decided to do what she does best to squash the rumors — rap. Following the 2019 American Music Awards, still looking hot in her red crystal gown by Bryan Hearns, Megan laid down a Juicy J beat and freestyled about singledom.
“B*tch, I’m 24 and single / Ain’t no ring on my finger / And if that n**ga looking good, you know I’m tryna mingle,” she rapped from the parking lot of the Microsoft Theatre.
While putting the tea-sippers in their place after she was spotted grinding on Trey at his birthday party, Megan tweeted, “Why y’all want me to be a h*e so bad ? Lol I’ve only dated ONE person y’all know about all that other sh*t is RUMORS/LIES… I ain’t addressing sh*t else bye.”
That “one person” she’s referring to? Moneybagg Yo perhaps. Megan and the “Relentless Again” rapper released a collab about their relationship called “All Dat” in October, and according to the 31-year-old, they’re doing just fine.
“We good. Everythang good,” he said in an interview with Nessa when asked about his and Megan’s current status. “You gotta, like, stay away from the media. Like, you can’t believe everything [in] the media. You just gotta stay away from that.”
