Meek Mill weighs in on Tekashi 6ix9ine calling him a “vicious kid” who “started telling.”
The Philly rhymer continues to feel questions from his fans as his #Askmeek session rolls into its third day. Over the weekend, Meek Mill answered a wide array of questions from his fans, including questions about his love life, his music, and his pending court case. Now he is weighing in on one of the most controversial figures in hip hop this era, Tekashi 6ix9ine.
The rainbow-haired rapper is currently behind bars as his racketeering case work its way through the court system. Last week, a new defendant was added to the case making it twelve defendants so far. Perhaps there is more to come, or maybe this is the beginning of the end of the case since nine defendants already pleaded guilty thanks to 6ix9ine’s cooperation with the feds.

One fan asked Meek Mill about his feelings towards Tekashi69, and his answer is very clear. “He’s a vicious kid started all that drama and start telling,” Meek tweeted.
The Roc Nation rapper is from the streets where telling is strictly prohibited. Some folks may argue that 6ix9ine life was in danger from members of his own crew, so why not tell on them. However, the street code strictly prohibits snitching even in circumstances like those. At what point does the quest for justice override the street code?
Over the weekend, Meek Mill revealed that he stays away from his old hood in Philadelphia because he knows that staying there would cost him his life. That’s a common sentiment we hear from famous rappers like Boosie Badazz who previously urged young rappers to move away from the communities where they grew up. Perhaps if Nipsey Hussle had used that blueprint, he would still be here with us.
