Nicki Minaj has hit the studio with Migos’ Quavo and producer London On Da Track.
The Harajuku Barbie got her fans hyped up on Wednesday when she posted a few photos of herself hanging out with Quavo and another with London On Da Track. All she placed in the captions were several fire and music emojis. Quavo has been one of the hottest rappers in the game this year and the most active out of the Migos trio. So far this year we’ve heard him on tracks with the likes of Drake, Gucci Mane, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and more.
The takeaway from the images that Nicki Minaj posted on her IG is that she will collaborate with Quavo on a new song that London On Da Track is producing. You can expect great music from these trio. The song will likely appear on Nicki Minaj’s upcoming album due sometime this year. She has been keeping the details around the project close to her heart so perhaps she will abruptly deliver it one day to her fans. She will have a lot of competition to contend with, since we’ve already received two blockbuster rap albums this year from Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Both More Life and DAMN sold more than 500,000 copies in the first week of being release and has already certified platinum.
So far this year, Nicki Minaj collaborated with a handful of artists including Lil Wayne, Drake, Jason Derulo, Gucci Mane, and recently with 2 Chainz on “Realize” which will appear on his upcoming project Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Minaj also did songs with Katy Perry, DNCE, Major Lazer, and David Guetta. She has been having a very busy year and that makes for good promo for her upcoming album.
