Watch Kendrick Lamar Head On Fire In “HUMBLE” Video

Kendrick Lamar head is on fire literally in his new music video “Humble.”

The Compton rapper is back in the headlines a week after he releases that scathing diss track “The Heart Part 4″ where he takes shots at Big Sean and Donald Trump. K-Dot released the music video for his single “HUMBLE.” The song is rumored to be the first off his upcoming new album due next month. The video clip was directed by Dave Meyers who has in the past worked with the likes of Nas, Outkast, and Missy Elliott.

The 3-minute clip was shot in Los Angeles earlier this month and features Kendrick Lamar in a church dressed as a catholic priest before laying on a bed of money whole his female workers count his cash. The biblical toned video also recreates Leonardo da Vinci’s classic painting of “The Last Supper” with members of his close circle including TDE manager retOne, producer Sounwave, and Jay Rock sitting at the table.

Kendrick Lamar also takes on the Photoshop issue going on in magazines and on Instagram right after he lights his head on fire. K-Dot has been known to create visually compelling videos for his songs and this one is no different. Aside from the sudden new video, we are excited that Kendrick is dropping a new album rumored to be on April 7th and will be the follow-up to his 2015 project To Pimp a Butterfly. Last week a rumored tracklist for the upcoming album landed online which features fourteen new singles and guest features from the likes of Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Andre Benjamin, Andre 3000 and more.

Kendrick Lamar has been relatively quiet on the rap scene since his last album in 2015 only doing a few guest features. His return could spell problems for other rappers who has pending projects.
