Rick Ross has finally break his silence on an alleged attack by an angry mob at a concert in Detroit.
According to reports, Rick Ross was denied access to the venue at the HOT 107.5’s Summer Jamz concert in Detroit on Saturday. The Maybach Music Group honcho headlined the event, but didn’t take the stage because a mob of over 100 people blocked the entrance.

Hot 107.5’s program director Jay Hicks told the audience that Rick Ross was in fear of his life and left Detroit without performing.
“I’m going to be real with y’all; I’m going to be real as [expletives]. We had Rick Ross right outside here tonight,” Hicks told the large crowd. “At about 11 o’clock, when he was pulling up to come into Chene Park, he was met by 100 individuals outside. We have tried to pull every resource together and asked him to come back. He is in fear of his life.”
But Rick Ross denied the allegations when he was asked by TMZ saying it’s all lies.
“Somebody is deceiving the people of Detroit like Kwame Kilpatrick did,” Ricky Rozay said.
Speaking with Felisha Monet on 99 Jamz on Monday, Rick Ross says he never even made it inside the venue.
“I never even made it to the venue,” he said. “Me and [the program director], we never crossed paths. He never spoke with Rozay. And I expect him to clarify that.”
Rozay also demanded an apology from Jay Hicks.
