Machine Gun Kelly says Eminem makes him want to quit rap.
On Friday, Eminem ignited the internet with a fiery diss track “Killshot” aimed squarely at Machine Gun Kelly. The Bad Boy rapper has since shared his reaction to the scathing diss record. In one tweet last night, he wrote, “two weeks and three interviews later.” He then added a throw it in the trash emoji and the hashtags #legshot and #letstalkboutit. Some fans went and dug up an old tweet from MGK where he admitted that Em is good and makes him even considering an early retirement.
Machine Gun Kelly wrote, “Eminem makes me want to quit rapping… f*** he’s good lol.” That tweet was sent out in July of 2010 around the same time that the two started beefing. MGK has always maintained that he is a huge fan of Slim Shady and even refers to him as his idol. Their feud is now shaping up to be a classic case of idols becoming rivals.
Eminem responded to Machine Gun Kelly diss track “Rap Devil” line for line while adding some more jabs at the Cleveland rapper and his boss Diddy, who Em hinted as being responsible for Tupac’s killing.
The internet had a field day yesterday when the track hit YouTube. Diddy instantly became a trending topic on Twitter after Shady dropped the diss track “Kill Shot.” “This idiot’s boss pops pills and tells him that he got skills/ But Kells, the day you put out a hit / Is the day Diddy admits he put the hit out that got Pac killed,” Eminem raps.
Last week, Machine Gun Kelly revealed that he has a second diss track for Eminem lined up on deck. It’s been more than 30 hours since Em drop “Killshot,” and we haven’t gotten a response yet. However, to be fair to MGK, Em took over two weeks to respond.
