Azealia Banks made a surprise gesture to Zayn Malik and issued him an apology.
In a lengthy letter posted on her Instagram page, Banks admitted that she was wrong to attack the One Direction singer with homophobic and racist insults.
“Dear Zayn, There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am,” she wrote. “Recent events have taught me the importance of taking accountability for ones actions. I want and need to say I am sorry, I was wrong.”
Azealia Banks and Zayn were in a Twitter beef back in May where the Harlem rapper called the pop star a fa***t for giving out her phone number to his fans on social media.
“I am not cruel, nor am I heartless or vindictive,” she continues. “There is a lot of love in my heart and there is good in my soul. What I did was wrong and I am committed to becoming a better person.”
This comes just days after Azealia Banks was embroiled in another controversy where she allegedly got into a fight with Russell Crow and embarrasses RZA who invited her to a dinner party.
