Beyonce had the entire audience at the MTV Video Music Awards sipping “Lemonade” with her 15-minute set at Madison Square Gardens on Sunday night.
Beyonce first drew a lot of attention on the red carpet with her daughter Blue Ivy before slipping backstage to change for her mega performance. Her full set of her “Lemonade” medley started with “Pray You Catch Me.” She donned black lace and diamonds on her arms while looking fierce in a white jacket.

Queen Bey was introduced by her close friend Serena Williams who starred in one of the videos “Sorry” on her Lemonade visual album. “She dropped an earth-shaking visual album with an appearance by yours truly,” the tennis star said. Following a spoken word segment from the landmark album, Beyonce then performance “Hold Up” donning black ensemble.
She then cracked things up a few notches when she made her way through the audience, grabbed a baseball bat and went nuts on a camera before chiming into her single “Sorry.” She capped off her performance with “Don’t Hurt Yourself” and her controversial single “Formation.”
