50 Cent is a big supporter of Drake, but that doesn’t mean the Canadian rapper is off-limits for trolling.
50 Cent, who has established himself as the king of social media trolling, is famous for defending Drake even at the heights of the OVO rapper’s beef with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. In a recent interview with Billboard, Fifty shared the advice he gave Drizzy, who some folks in hip-hop say lost the beef with Kendrick.

“I said, ‘They said you lost, okay. Well what did you lose?'” Fifty said. “What exactly did he lose if he got $300 something million on his last tour? You didn’t lose a mother—-ing thing, man.”
50 Cent says he also advised Drake to stay in the studio, and it seems like the Toronto rapper has taken that advice as he has an upcoming joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Still, the “God’s Plan” rapper has come under fire over the past week after taking legal actions against UMG, accusing his label of engaging in a “scheme” to hurt him with Kendrick Lamar’s blistering diss track “Not Like Us.”
50 Cent might just be having a little fun at Drake and Tony Yayo’s expense in one of his recent posts on Instagram. The G-Unit rapper shared a behind-the-scenes clip of himself and his crew on his private jet. Yayo was one of the folks on the plane with his headphones on, bumping some music.
“You get a pass if you listening to Kendrick sh–,” Fif said to Yayo on the flight. The “Many Men” rapper then playfully yanked the headphones off Yayo’s head and said, “Ni—, that’s Drake. That’s Drake you got in there.”
50 Cent’s playfulness in the clip certainly is a step away from his support of Drake in recent weeks, but we doubt that support has weakened due to the lawsuit. Fif is likely just having fun, but let’s see if Drizzy will unfollow him as he did with Timbaland, who shared a comment on the lawsuit last week.
In the meantime, Kendrick Lamar now has the No. 1 album on Billboard 200 after his new project GNX, posted 319,000 album-equivalent units in the first week of release. The project could maintain the top spot for a second consecutive week with strong projected sales and streaming in week two of its release.
