Drake didn’t just receive a response from Kendrick Lamar, but also one from Steve Lacy.
The “Static” singer responds to the Toronto rapper on his Instagram following Drizzy’s appearance on Kick streamer xQc’s Livestream on Sunday night. During the Livestream event, Drake took a jab at Kendrick Lamar and his fans before slighting Steve Lacy, calling him a “fragile opp.” The Canadian rapper made the statement while Lacy’s hit “Bad Habit” was streaming in the background.

“This guy’s like a fragile opp, but it’s a good song,” Drizzy said with a straight face while declining to elaborate further on what he meant by “fragile opp.” He added, “Chat knows what I’m talking about. Fragility.”
The Grammy-winning singer reshared the clip before issuing a witty response on his Instagram. “Who tryna be my…fragile opp?” Lacy asked. It remains unclear what triggered Drake to label Lacy an opp. It’s worth mentioning that the singer was among celebrities and fans who showed up at Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out event earlier this year, where the infamous diss track “Not Like Us” was being played on repeat. Steve Lacy also appeared in the music video for the song, making his allegiance very clear.

While on the stream, Drake took a slight dig at The Weeknd while “Starboy” was playing. It seems the OVO rapper didn’t like xQc’s music selection that much and asked him to skip the song and play some blink-182. “Exactly. Play some blink-182,” he said. “I wanna hear that real sh–.”
In the meantime, Drake also got a reaction from Kendrick Lamar after an alleged friend of K.Dot shared a screenshot of their DM conversation, labeling Drizzy a streamer. The Compton rapper is dominating the rap space with his surprise album, GNX. The project, released on Friday (November 22), is heading for a blockbuster debut with a massive first-week sales projection that would put it at the top for the biggest rap album debut so far this year.
