Jim Jones marriage rumors took centerstage over the weekend, and now the woman at the center of it has broken her silence.
Basketball Wives LA star Brooke Bailey has stepped forward to address rumors that she and Jim Jones secretly got married following his alleged split with Chrissy Lampkin in September. Bailey sat down for an interview on the TFU Podcast earlier this week where she poured cold water on the rumors, denying that she has ever met the New York rap legend.
“I am not married to Jim Jones,” the Basketball Wives LA star said. “Let me tell you guys something this is the craziest viral that I’ve ever been in my whole entire life. ’Cuz I like wake up one day, I do my whole routine, read my devotionals and positive stuff and then I go on my Instagram and I see like fake pages, like you know, ‘You took Jim.’”

Brooke Bailey said she had been minding her business and being in a quiet place for the past weeks, so she was taken aback by the rumors. “This was so f— random,” she said. “They took pictures and edited it from my wedding to my ex-husband.”
Bailey also shouts out Chrissy Lampkin while admitting that the two women don’t know each other personally. “I’m not even thinking that you know like ‘cuz that’s so f—ng random,” she added. “I love Chrissy. I don’t know her personally but I’ve watched her over the years you know and I’m a girl’s girl, I don’t need to steal nobody man.”

Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin have both reacted to the rumors in a video posted on Instagram on Sunday (November 10). The clip shows the Dipset rapper drinking water from a bottle while Lampkin is in the background off-camera saying she is minding her business and drinking her water. Some fans quickly reminded them that they put their business out there when they became reality TV stars. “You wasn’t minding your business when you put your business out there. She is always wanting attention. You told Social Media that you and Jim were over. We didn’t ask her for the lies,” one person wrote.
The Love and Hip Hop alums have been dating for almost two decades. However, rumors of their split popped up online in September of this year when Lampkin posted a message on her Instagram Story saying she could replace her man faster than he was out the door.
