Chrisean Rock is turning a new page in her life after getting baptized.

The rapper and reality TV star shared a video of her baptism on Sunday (November 10) with a heartfelt message thanking her Christian family. Chrisean Rock, whose real name is Chrisean Malone, has had a tumultuous year this year with a stint behind bars and domestic incidents with her baby daddy Blueface, and their family. The “Rainy Days” rapper has decided to close out the year by sending a different message to her supporters.

The clip captured the moment she was dipped underwater and emerged a new person. “Gracious God, today I rejoice in the promise of new life that baptism symbolizes,” she wrote. “Thank You for cleansing my heart and welcoming me into Your family. As I rise from these waters, may I walk in the light of Your Spirit and grow in the love of Christ each day. Guide my steps, uphold me in faith, and help me to live out Your truth in all I do. Amen.”

Chrisean Rock recently announced that she plans to transition from rap to make a type of gospel music, a genre she calls hood gospel. Leading up to her baptism, she told her fans that she was serious about turning a new page as she embraced her faith. “Embracing a new life and walking in purity is a beautiful journey, one that reflects the transformative power of God’s love and grace,” she said.

In the meantime, Rock received a heartfelt message from Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, who reshared the clip on her Instagram. “It might seem flip flopping but I ain’t going to deny her if she joined my fathers hood today,” Karlissa wrote. “Y’all want me to hate her so bad. She gave her life to Christ today and i didn’t see him strike her with lightning. Everything I
hated about her was left in that water because I know what my father in heaven can do! To God be the glory.”

While some fans question her sincerity, the move from Karlissa Harvey brings new hope that she and Chrisean Rock can begin to repair their relationship. Rock has not yet responded to her comments, but her supporters are urging the two women to put the past behind them for the sake of her and Blueface’s son.

It’s unclear if Chrisean will continue her stint on Baddies: Midwest where she and her sister, Tesehki, are already butting heads with some eyebrow-raising allegations against each other.
