Halle Bailey says she might’ve overreacted after going off on her baby daddy DDG for Livestreaming with their son.
The R&B singer expressed her frustration with the rapper after he went on Kai Cenat’s Livestream with their son, Halo. Cent is currently undertaking a month long Livestream for November where he plans to stream nonstop for the entire month in his Mafiathon 2. So far, a bunch of celebrities have appeared on the stream including Lil Uzi Vert, Miranda Cosgrove, and Kodak Black, whose appearance was controversial due to his alleged pill popping incident.
DDG made a surprised appearance this week with his and Halle Bailey’s son, Halo. However, the stream didn’t go as planned as Halle flipped out on her ex-boyfriend on X (formerly Twitter) afer learning of her baby’s whereabouts with the rest of the world.
“Just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified. I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions without my consent,” The Little Mermaid actress wrote. “I am his mother and protector, and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”
After sending out that tweet, she briefly deactivated her X account seemingly in a fit of rage. However, she later returned after blowing off some steam. She later admitted that she may have overreacted about the situation and thank Kai Cenat for the gifts he gave Halo.
“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here,” she wrote. “I know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for halo.”
Halle Bailey and DDG ended their relationship in October when the rapper announced their split via a statement on social media. He stated that they are now focused on co-parenting their 1-year-old baby boy. It seems co-parenting isn’t always a smooth ride.
