Lil Meech is perhaps the person celebrating Big Meech’s release from prison the most.
The Black Mafia Family, BMF, co-founder was released from prison earlier this month and sent to a halfway house in Florida, where he will serve out the rest of his sentence in a much more comfortable confinement. Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory’s son, Lil Meech, has now broken his silence, signaling it was an emotional reunion for the father and son.
The younger Flenory posted a video of his father relaxing while getting his feet manicured and looking happy while talking on the phone as he made the most of his newfound freedom. The clip appears to be taken at the halfway house where the BMF co-founder is staying. Meech was wearing an iced-out diamond chain with the iconic BMF pendant. The chain reportedly cost around $250,000. He was also wearing a gold Rolex watch on one hand. Lil Meech deleted the video shortly after posting it, but not before social media bloggers downloaded and reshared it.
“This is all I ever wanted,” the actor wrote. “Thank you God.”
Rappers and fans have been celebrating Big Meech’s release from prison as they welcomed him with open arms. Boosie Badazz, Sexyy Red, Bun B, and Rick Ross have all shared their reactions on social media, with Red even offering to perform for the BMF honcho for free. Nevertheless, it’s good to see Meech in good spirit after being incarcerated for almost two decades.

Lil Meech, whose real name is Demetrius Flenory Jr., was cast as his father in 50 Cent’s hit TV series BMF, on Starz. The actor recently shared why he chose the role of his father and credited Fifty for helping him get acting lessons for the part.
“This is life or death, I always tell people, just because this, for me, is like, I could never see nobody else getting the opportunity to play my dad and me not doing it, you know?” Meech told All The Smoke. “I could never miss that opportunity and not do good enough, I felt like. I love 50, to death for giving me the opportunity, but he loves me more now that I show him that I can do it, you know? And I show him that, and my dad that, on the line, when he get on the line, I’m gonna do it you know.”
The actor continues, “I’m gonna bring it, and this is not something that, just because me and my dad didn’t live the same lifestyle, I had real emotions, you know? He got taken away from me, and watching my mom go through it, watch my mom cry, watch the same people that my dad take care of, not take care of my mama, not take care of us when he went away, and 50 ain’t even on my daddy. So for him to come and do this is like, just showing what type of person he is, and I couldn’t let that opportunity pass me by, not kill it, and I couldn’t let nobody else get my spot, you know? I had to show my daddy.”
