Lil Durk Alleged OTF Members Charged For Quando Rondo Murder For Hire

Five men were arrested and charged in connection to the attempted murder of rapper Quando Rondo.

Urban Islandz reported in August 2022 that Quando Rondo was involved in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in which his cousin, Lul Pab, real name Saviay’a Robinson, was shot and killed. A video shows the Savannah rapper overcome by grief while talking to police officers in the aftermath of the gas station shooting incident. It turns out that law enforcement was still actively investigating the deadly shooting and has now made an arrest.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the FBI, in collaboration with local law enforcement, arrested five men in Chicago on Thursday (October 24). The five men arrested are Kavon London Grant, AKA “Vonnie”, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, AKA “DeDe”, Keith Jones, AKA “Flacka”, David Brian Lindsey, AKA “Browneyez”, and Asa Houston, AKA “Boogie”, who were all charged for the shooting incident.

According to the indictment, the five men are alleged associates of Lil Durk’s OTF collective. The five individuals are charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire involving a death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death. The grand jury indictment alleges that a credit card linked to the OTF label was used to purchase plane tickets, rental cars, and hotels to travel to California to hunt down and kill Quando Rondo after learning about his location.

Prosecutors also allege that an unnamed OTF member offered “lucrative music opportunities” to anyone who killed Quando Rondo. The feds say Grant flew on a private jet from Miami to Los Angeles to organize the operation to take out Rondo. The indictment alleges that he procured weapons and ski masks for the men to carry out the deadly shooting.

Quando Rondo, who is an associate of NBA YoungBoy, has been under threats since the killing of Lil Durk’s associate, King Von, in Atlanta on November 6, 2020. King Von and Rondo’s crews were involved in a fight outside a nightclub before the Chicago rapper was shot and killed. Since Von’s death, there have been several attempts on Rondo’s life, and the feds believed the 2022 Los Angeles shooting was in retaliation.

Quando Rondo’s associate Lul Timm, real name Timothy Leeks, was arrested and charged with King Von’s murder, but the charges were later dropped, and he was released from behind bars.

Lil Durk was not arrested nor charged in Thursday’s indictment against his five alleged associates.
