King Combs is not letting his father’s federal case get him down.
The rapper hit the town with his girlfriend Raven Tracy for some lighter time days after attending court for Diddy’s third hearing. King Combs called Raven the “baddest girl in the world” as the two turn up and dance together at a club in New York City last weekend. The younger Combs appeared to be in great spirit a striking contrast to his mood while leaving court on Thursday (October 10) with his siblings and grandmother.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested in September following a federal indictment in New York for sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering. His arrest comes months after the feds raided his homes and removed a mountain of evidence including alleged video footage from some of his parties, called “freak-offs.” There were also stacks of files and other items taken like one thousand bottles of baby oils. It’s unclear if the baby oils will be used as evidence or if that information was put in the public space to embarrass the rap mogul. His defense attorney has since downplay the significance of it saying that he bought items from Costco in bulk.
Diddy was present in court on Thursday for the hearing which his mother, Janice Combs, and his children attended. The Bad Boy Records founder appeared to be in great spirit and even forced a smile as his mother blew him kisses. Combs also learned in court on Thursday that his trial date is set for May 2025, which his attorney Marc Agnifilo accepted. Nevertheless, the feds indicated that a grand jury is still combing through evidence and hearing testimonies from potential witnesses, which means more charges could be coming for the entertainment mogul.
In the meantime, fans have reacted to King Combs partying while his father fight for his life with mixed reactions. “Shouldn’t he be in the house being lowkey? I mean its obvious y’all all are under scrutiny, his father should tell him to go sit down,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I mean his life is not supposed to stop because his father’s mistakes. But I would stay low key for now just saying.”
