Diddy could be looking at additional charges as the Feds continue their investigation as he remains incarcerated.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his defense team were in court on Thursday (October 10) in Manhattan for another hearing in his sex trafficking and racketeering case. A number of things were covered in Thursday’s hearing including an agreed-upon trial date for May 5, 2025, and an agreement from both sides not to speak to the press about the case going forward. One of the things that the Feds raised was that they are still actively investigating the hip-hop mogul and more charges could be on the horizon for him.

Diddy is already facing serious charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering, which could land him in prison for decades if convicted. So far the entertainment billionaire has been unsuccessful in securing bail. His defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo, accused prosecutors of leaking grand jury information to the media and is engaged in an unfair campaign to “takedown of a successful Black man.” Agnifilo made that claim in TMZ’s documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment. TMZ reported that prosecutors denied the claim in court on Thursday calling it “baseless.”

While both sides agreed not to discuss the details of the case in the media, the judge declined to issue a gag order for now.

Diddy’s attorneys are also accusing the feds of leaking the Cassie assault video to CNN which triggered a massive public backlash of the Bad Boy Records founder, who later apologized to Cassie without mentioning her by name as part of their settlement agreement when she filed a lawsuit against him. While the feds denied the allegation, the alleged leaking of the video and perhaps other details related to the case will likely be a point of contention during the trial.

Diddy’s defense team filed another motion for his bail on Wednesday, which the judge has yet to hand down a ruling. Two separate judges have denied him bond despite a massive $50 million security package proposed by his attorneys. A part of the package would include one of his mansions and his staying on house arrest and will not have any female visitors. The feds have argued that the rapper is a flight risk and could potentially tamper with witnesses if he is released on bond, but the defense argued that those concerns are adequately addressed in their $50 million bond package.

At the time of this publication, a grand jury is still hearing testimony from potential witnesses, which means more charges could be on the way for Diddy.

The Bad Boy mogul is also dealing with numerous civil cases from individuals who claimed he sexually assaulted them, with some people claiming that they were minors when the alleged assault took place. Houston attorney Tony Buzbee claimed to be representing around 120 people who filed complaints about inappropriate encounters with Diddy. Buzbee also said that other celebrities were involved in some of the instances and more lawsuits could be on the way.

In the meantime, Diddy’s children and his mother Janice Combs were in court today to support him. The rapper appeared to be in good spirit as his mother blew kisses towards her son who was in shackles. The Bad Boy Records founder received an emotional family visit last week from his mother and twin daughters, whom he had not seen since his arrest in September.
