Lil Yachty has added his voice to the ongoing T.I. hymen debate.
The social world was shocked, to say the least, when they learned that T.I. accompanies his teen daughter to her annual gynecologist visits to check her hymen to see if she’s still a virgin. Lame dad move, yes, but some seem to think it’s just a dad move. Recently T.I. revealed the invasive truth on a podcast hosted by two women Nadia and Nazanin called “Ladies Like Us.” Following the controversial discussion, outraged fans and celebrities alike took to social media to express their discontent with T.I.’s method parenting. While most people strongly and wholeheartedly disagree with what T.I. admitted, some are not bashing the rapper and businessman for merely being a parent.
TooFab often goes around getting celebrities to chime in on hot topics in the industry, and this week, of course, the global hymen debate was the one to beat. Lil Yachty was among those who TooFab caught up with.
The 22-year-old rapper said, “I can’t really say I know what it’s like in the first place to even look after someone else. From the father’s perspective, that’s a whole different ball game that I know nothing about – that’s one,” Yachty explained. “And two, I just feel like when it comes to someone’s children, that’s such a personal matter that no one could honestly tell somebody how to raise their children or how to or to take are of them or how to look after them,” he continued. “You know, that’s that man’s child. I’m not saying that it’s right or wrong but it’s his child. That’s his daughter yo, he loves and has taken care of her I don’t know how many years.”
As for what the young rapper would do with his own daughter, he said he would have a strong input in her life and instill certain morals in her from an early age so she can make the right decisions when he is not around. It’s easier said than done, but at least Yachty has got the right idea about parenting.
