Jacquees is the “King Of R&B,” or is he not? Fans react to him calling a song “EEeee.”
The Atlanta vocalist has been labeling himself the “King of R&B” all of this year and even getting into some heated back-and-forth with fans on social media and other artistes like Ella Mai and YK Osiris. Jacquees has now released an entire body of work on the basis that he is the true king or the new king of R&B. Yes, the album is titled “King of R&B.” Nevermind that Chris Brown, Usher, and even the hugely talented but yet so controversial R&B, are all still alive.
The 14-track album features guest appearances from Tory Lanez, Bluff City, Gunna, Young Thug, T.I., TK Kravitz, and FYB. Most of those names we’re all familiar with, but a few of them not so much. The project is now available on all streaming platforms, so you can go and stream it and make your own assessment.
Of course, some fans reflect some positive feedbacks after listening to the project, but there are a lot who are not impressed. One of the songs that are the most talked about on the album is the track titled “EEeee,” featuring TK Kravitz.
“Yeah, I know I got my vices / Life is enticin’ Yeah / can’t sacrifice this, Yeah / Show me the blueprint to our love, Yeah / Where would I be? Where would you be without us?” Jacquees sings.
