Reginae Carter wants us to cut her some slack for spying on her ex-boyfriend YFN Lucci.
Reginae Carter has spoken out at the beginning of summer against the new craze of cucumber parties that have brought about nothing but trouble. And Love & Hip Hop star Alexis Skyy’s new boyfriend Trouble fit right into the mess when he threw a huge party that involved some pretty degrading activities involving vegetables.
Several celebrities were in attendance including 2 Chainz and Reginae’s on-again, off-again boyfriend YFN Lucci. So once Reginae, who is Lil Wayne’s first daughter, heard her boo thang was at this party, she went to check up on him secretly. A video surfaced on social media of her creeping through the gathering.
Reginae admitted as much to her fans on Twitter and said that seeing the cucumber activities made her immediately want to bounce from the event.
“I went to the party to spy on ray(Lucci). Females, don’t act like you never did it,” Reginae tweeted Monday morning. “But when I heard about the cucumber activities, I left. Tbh, I’ve made myself look like a fool for this man and I apologize for allowing you guys to see it.”
Reginae and Lucci have been publicly dating on and off for about a year and a half, although there have been several incidents in which Lucci was seen out and about with other women.
“I’m young and still learning. Unfortunately, every move I make is publicized. I can’t control it. Imma try to be more private for now on,” she continued. Reginae went on to thank her supporters for being understanding and not attacking her for her public mistakes and promised to work on her building herself a better brand. The first step, she feels, is stepping away from social media.
“No I didn’t have to do this. But I owe it to my true fans. Because my brand is something that means a lot to me. And I’m not tryna mess it up. So I’ll be taking a Lil break. I love you guys . (I’m talking to my fans not you hating hoes) thanks.”
