Drake and Future finish the sequel to What A Time To Be Alive and it’s coming soon.
The OVO rapper and the Freebandz MC came together in 2015 to deliver their collaborative album What A Time To Be Alive. The project received critical acclaim, and now we’re learning that there is a part two coming. According to OnSMASH, Drake and Future have completed their work on WATTBA2. The project will comprise of only new music, so you will not hear any old flow or old music that they recorded five years ago.
There is no release date set for the project, but sources are saying that Drake is on the verge of dropping some new music. The report suggests that Drizzy is the deciding factor on whether the project will ever see the light of day.
Drake and Future have both remained tight-lipped about the new reporting. The original version of WATTBA was released in September. 2015, without any prior notice. The project debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 album chart. For that project, we saw Metro Boomin, and Southside handled the production.
Drake is currently touring in Europe for his “The Assassination Vacation Tour” featuring Tory Lanez. Perhaps we will hear more on this topic when he returns stateside in a couple of weeks from his tour across the pond. Future got his own thing going on as well. One thing is for sure; these two rappers make dope music. Drizzy is notorious for dropping at least one album every year, and Future sometimes drops an album every week.
At the time of this publication, What A Time To Be Alive 2 is mere rumors. But keep in mind that artists these days tend to keep their project a secret at least until they’re ready to drop. Let’s hope that this project is real and will see the light of day.
