Trippie Redd wants to put hands on Vic Mensa for dissing XXXTentacion at last weekend’s BET Hip Hop Awards.
Although Vic Mensa has tried to clarify his jab at XXXTentacion on Instagram last night, some folks are still unhappy with his stance and are calling him a hypocrite over his own domestic violence past. Trippie Redd is taking it a step further by suggesting that he want to fight the Chicago rapper for his friend who passed away in June.
“Tell Vic Mensa pull up,” Trippie said on his Instagram Live. “Come pull up to L.A. We want to fight. Tell that ni**a pull up. Dissing passed away people and sh*t.” Trippie Redd added that he was a fan of Mensa but not anymore before saying that his music is trash. “I was kinda f***ing with dude, though,” Redd said. “I like two of your songs. All the rest of them were trash, though.”
Vic Mensa pretty much doubles down on his stance against domestic violence, particularly rappers who abuse women. He did, however, apologize to XXXTentacion mom, Cleopatra Bernard, who was sitting in the audience at the BET Hip Hop Awards last weekend in Miami. He said the Cypher was pre-recorded so he had no way of knowing that the late rapper’s mom would be in the audience.
The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will be broadcast on October 16th, so let’s see if Vic Mensa’s diss will be cut from the broadcast version.
