Lil Wayne debuts his new mixtape Dedication 6: Reloaded with 20 more bangers.
Weezy released Dedication 6 in December and a month later he released the part two of the album hosted by DJ Drama making it the latest addition to his Gangsta Grillz mixtape series. Drama and Lil Wayne teamed up in 2005 for the launch of the series and since then we’ve seen six installments and now sign that they will ever end the production. D6: Reloaded is the latest addition to the saga.
D6R comes with 20 songs including a track with Drake “Family Feud,” Rich The Kid is featured on “Don’t Shoot Em” and Juelz Santana came through for “Bloody Mary.” Elsewhere on the project you will also find remixed for $AP Ferg’s “Plain Jane,” Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” called “Groupie Gang,” and Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna’s “Loyalty” called “Weezy N Madonna.”
Lil Wayne and DJ Drama brings forward a variety of guest artists for each installment in the Dedication mixtape series. Over the years we’ve seen the likes of The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, T.I., J. Cole and more jumping on the project. For the first half of D6, Weezy tapped some of his Young Money comrades, Gudda Gudda, Euro, Cory Gunz, and HoodyBaby, for some guest verses.
While he has been dropping mixtapes, we’ve yet to get a full album from Lil Wayne for years after Cash Money shelves his long-awaited Tha Carter V project. Last year he filed legal documents asking a judge to dissolve Young Money or appoint a receiver to oversee the operations but Birdman objected to the move and file a counter as he moves to block Weezy from disbanding the iconic label they founded 15 years ago. Wayne has a pending lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million. That case has been ongoing for the past three years.
Weezy is a legend one of the GOATS give this man him respect.
