The Cash Money honcho and Weezy are front and center the media once again after the New Orleans emcee tweeted last week that he is considering hanging up the mic and his label head is to be blamed. During an interview on on FS1 show “Undisputed” yesterday, Wayne was adamant that he would never work with Birdman again. Wayne also previously stated that Cash Money is holding his final album Tha Carter V hostage in an effort to keep him at bay at the label.
Birdman is calling that statement BS saying that Lil Wayne is in possession of the physical album so his hands are tied with regards to releasing the album, TMZ reported.
Lil Wayne is suing Birdman for $51 million dollars in paid royalties and advances for his album. Wayne also claimed that Cash Money owes him money for record sales from his Young Money artists roster mostly Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Tyga.
