Vybz Kartel announced that he is dropping five new singles in December.
The incarcerated deejay has released over twenty new singles since the start of the fall and is closing out the year on a high note with at least five new tracks coming this month. Kartel updated his Instagram bio over the weekend where he named five songs coming this month, one of which was released over the weekend, “Christmas Fck.” The other four tracks will title “Flintstone (Yabba Dabba Doo),” “Make-Up Sex,” “Marathon,” and “My Boo.”
Two more singles will be released on Friday of this week, sources inside the Gazanation told us. “It’s going to be a crazy December, we doing it for the fans as a Christmas gift,” sources told Urban Islandz. “We making at least five drops and you will hear that at every Christmas party. We have some more surprises for the Gazanation fans them so stay tuned, we will be dropping something huge soon.”
Vybz Kartel has been giving fans an average of two songs per week since around the end of August, while other artists like Mavado, Popcaan, and Alkaline have been releasing one or two songs per quarter. So is this too much music for the airwaves all at once from the Worl’Boss. Our Gazanation sources told us that is not the case since Vybz Kartel has been known to drop a lot of music in a short space of time.
“This is not too much music and if anything its the fans who are benefiting, they are the ones we are doing this for,” sources said. “Addi (Vybz Kartel) is the hardest working artist in dancehall so some other lazy artists shouldn’t complain when the boss a drop them week in week out.”
Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for murder and it’s illegal for him to be recording music in prison.
