Dancehall Hero Vybz Kartel threw his weight behind Nigerian Afro Beat deejay “Burna Boy” on a new single “Gyalis.”
The track was originally leaked online online earlier this month but now the full version is available for stream on iTunes/Apple Music. This marks the first time the two artists are working together. Sources inside the Gaza told Urban Islandz that Vybz Kartel’s verse is taken from previously recorded unreleased material.
“We get request for Vybz Kartel features regularly and thanks to his work ethics we have so much material to make some from,” sources said. The Gaza Boss has been behind bars for the last six years but somehow manages to stay relevant thanks to a large catalog of unreleased music and his massive fan base.
Burna Boy is one of the hottest Afro Beat artist in Nigeria and his camp told us that the song is already a huge hit in Africa.
