Aidonia is mourning the death of his beloved grandmother. A rep for the dancehall deejay confirmed the news with Urban Islandz.
We’re told that Hortene Johnson aka Mama Dell died early Wednesday morning at the age of 83 from natural causes. “Aidonia and his grandmother were very close so he is taking her death hard,” his rep told us.
The 4th Genna deejay has been having a great year with two hot new singles and a big performance in Atlanta for the first time in several years. Aidonia got back his United States visa last year summer and touched down on US soil for the first time in six years. His first US show was at the Amazura Nightclub in New York City on July 23. Aidonia topped off a great year by marrying his baby mama Kimberly Megan in September.
