Embattled dancehall star Vybz Kartel has channeled his inner Malcolm X on the cover his book “Voice Of The Jamaican Ghetto.”
The Book’s cover artwork shows an image of Vybz Kartel closely resembling the civil rights leader.

Although an official release date is not yet set for the highly anticipated book, the publishers released some excerpts from the first three chapters earlier this year.
“Let your Jah be your guide – each day when you wake up anywhere in Jamaica or in the world say – Thank You Jah, me wake up this morning,” Vybz Kartel said in Chapter one.
Vybz Kartel’s double murder trial is expected to get underway this summer.

Although he was granted bail on one of the two charges, he was unable to secure his release for the other. As a result, the former Portmore Empire head may not be released before the book is launched.
