Urban Islandz NEWS: Dancehall’s funniest duo Twins of Twins is getting ready to release their highly anticipated “Stir It Up” Volume 9 in animation.
The Twins warned fans that it will be like no other of their popular comedic series. “Stir It Up” volume 9 will see the Twins taking on the persona of Vybz Kartel and Cake Soap, Bounty Killer and the Hammer and also the infamous Buju Banton trial among others.
Not taking any chances, Twins of Twins recently have their lawyer review the the recordings to avoid any lawsuit that may arise, given their legal problems with dancehall deejay Round Head last year.
Twins of Twins maybe on the verge of securing a deal to bring an animated version of Stir It Up to your Television after the release of volume 9.
In a recent interview with the Star, Twins of Twins manager Henry K said, “Basically, the Twin of Twins were approached to have a role in the upcoming movie Gangstas which is being produced by Platinum Camp. One thing evolved to another and the idea of the sitcom was raised. They’re big fans of the twins, and they really see the potential to market them to much more than the Jamaican core.”
The characters, which will be featured in the animations, are some of the old favourites which the twins made popular; and a few new faces will be included as well.
Platinum Camp Productions will be financing the animated productions. Twin of Twins are currently in the United States finalising the deal.
