Eminem, Jay-Z, The Roots, Cee-Lo and B.o.B. are among rappers with Grammy nods this year.
Eminem topped the Grammy nominations with a whopping 10 nods when the honors for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced on Wednesday night.
Jay-Z and Lady Gaga garnered six nomination apiece with newcomer Bruno Mars snatching up seven.
Eminem’s distinctions included the coveted best album nomination for his top-selling opus Recovery.
Surprisingly, Bruno Mars’ solo album Doo-Wops & Hooligans was not included in the honors, but he was due to his collaborative work with B.o.B., Cee-Lo and others. The Roots and Cee-Lo also received four nominations for their critically acclaimed works
