Foota Hype has reignited his beef with Romeich Major with an explosive rant against Shenseea’s manager, who he labeled the Jamaican Diddy.
Romeich has been engaged in a heated back-and-forth on social media over the past several days involving Chris Gayle, Tifa, and now Foota Hype. The veteran sound system selector called out the entertainment businessman/artist manager for what he calls questionable behaviors in the industry.
“Romeich you a gwaan like you a the Jamaican P Diddy,” Foota said in the clip. “You a move like a ba–y boy straight up. You a move like man a f— yo. A yuh dutty style yuh wah push pan the people them. Ba–y business you a defend.”
Romeich appears to find the statement offensive and claps back in a Livestream while threatening to put paws on the disc jockey, who is currently residing in Florida. “Foota don’t feel caus’ you nah come back a Jamaica me won’t come a Florida and whole you and box up yuh big nose innuh bwoy. Don’t draw me out bredda. One day man gone step pon you foot the right way and humble.”
Major also called out Foota Hype for asking him for money in the past despite now sharing his feelings about his lifestyle. “You no like my duty life but you still use to beg me? he questioned.

Foota Hype is known to be outspoken about artists and other folks in the entertainment space including Spice, Valiant, Bounty Killer, Shenseea, Demarco, and Romeich Major. His accusations are often unfounded but are enough to earn a reaction from the artists because of the potential to damage their careers. Earlier this year, Valiant responded to Foota Hype saying he would no longer play the artist’s music at his parties.
“You nah hear me play a next Valiant [song] ever. Memba me nah fight against you, me a disassociate myself from you. Memba say without selector artists can’t rich enuh,” Foota Hype said. Valiant quickly responded by sharing a comedic video of himself crying over what Foota said he was going to do.
Valiant and Shenseea are from Romeich Major’s camp.
