Kanye West is facing a slew of new allegations against him and some fans are wondering if he is heading down the same path as Diddy.
The Yeezus rapper is currently in Tokyo working on his new album, Bully, due sometime this year. He is also dealing with some damning allegations from his former assistant, who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. For those unfamiliar with the suit, Pisciotta says Kanye West sent her several inappropriate text messages while she was working for the rapper as his chief of staff between 2021 and 2022.
Kanye has not yet responded to the lawsuit, but his accuser made some pretty damning allegations including a claim that he tried to sleep with his wife Bianca Censori’s mother. Pisciotta alleges in her suit that Ye texted her inappropriate messages about conversations he had with Cencori, some of which the rapper said he wanted to sleep with her mother. She claimed that he even sent her a screenshot of a conversation that he had with Censori about the same topic.
To be clear, Kanye West and Bianca Censori got married in late 2022, but it’s unclear how long they were dating before tying the knot. Additionally, the focus of the lawsuit is about alleged harassing text messages and phone calls the accuser claimed she received from the rapper. Nevertheless, her claims about Ye and Bianca’s mother are quite salacious, especially in light of reports that they were heading for divorce. The couple disproved the reports earlier this week when they stepped out together in Tokyo for the first time in weeks.
Kanye West is known for PR stunts around his album and merchandise releases, and some fans are now questioning whether or not that is the case since he is on the heels of dropping a new album. Perhaps the news about his marriage being on the rocks was all part of a PR stunt to get his name in the headlines, but it’s hard to tell if this lawsuit is part of a wider publicity move the rapper orchestrated.

Kanye West is also dealing with other legal troubles including a lawsuit from a former bodyguard who says the rapper never paid him for his services. For now, Ye seemed happy in Japan working on his album and even had some of his friends in music visited him to contribute to the project.
