Shenseea put on a show for her fans at her birthday bash at Plantation Cove in St. Ann on Friday night, September 27.
The Jamaican singer, whose real name is Chinsea Lee, celebrated her 28th birthday in style with her team and some celebrity friends. Leading up to the event, Shenseea sent out some special boxes of goodies which included snacks and a card to some of her celebrity friends in Jamaica including Sean Paul, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley, Chronic Law, DJ Mac, Valiant, and several local influencers.
“You are specially invited to celebrate my birthday with me on September 27th,” the card reads. “I am looking forward to partying with you. In this box you will find some things that will be useful in the day.”
The boxes of goodies include snacks and refreshments from some of her sponsors including Sunshine Snacks, Campari, and Magnum. ShenYeng also had some of her overseas friends fly to Jamaica earlier this week for the event including Bobbi Althof.
During her set, Shenseea performed some of her biggest hits like “Trending Gyal,” “Die For You,” “Good Comfort,” “Hit & Run,” and her newest hit “Dating Szn.” The dancehall singer also brought out Chronic Law, Ding Dong, and Stalk Ashley for surprise performances at the event.
Shenseea and her son Rajeiro Lee were recently named regional brand ambassador for Sunshine Snacks, the leading snack brand in the Caribbean. The Trinidad and Tobago-based company says that the Jamaican singer and her son were the perfect choice to represent the brand across the region.
“I grew up on their products. I love Devon Chocolate, Charles [Chocolate], and Catch—the crunch always gets me. I’m so familiar with their brand, and I’m thrilled to be part of this,” Shenseea said at a press conference.
ShenYeng recently shared that her third album is almost complete as she gets ready to hit the road again with Jhene Aiko for the R&B singer’s upcoming tour.
