Young Dolph was briefly detained in Atlanta by law enforcement.
Late Wednesday evening, video footage surfaced online showing a group of police officers putting Young Dolph in handcuffs following a traffic stop on a busy street in Atlanta. The “Back To Back” rapper was driving his camo Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon when police pulled him over. TMZ reported that law enforcement removed Dolph from the SUV and put him in handcuff after claiming that they smelled marijuana. They came up empty-handed after searching the vehicle.
Although Young Dolph was placed in handcuffs, he was not arrested and taken into custody which means cops didn’t find anything criminal nor did he broke any laws. Nevertheless, it appears that he might’ve committed a traffic violation by not wearing his seat belt while driving.
Dolph had some friends in the car with him, and they too were placed in cuffs and asked to sit on the curb. Sources say police didn’t bother to ticket the rapper and send him on his way for his troubles. Young Dolph is no stranger to having issues with law enforcement. Additionally, there have been several attempts made on his life over the past few years.
