Ja Rule is reminding fans of the legend he was once in the music game.
Ja Rule may have faced some PR nightmares throughout his career — an embarrassing longtime beef with 50 Cent and being the face of the failed Fyre Festival — but something no one can ever take from him is his impact on the music game. Ja Rule was on top of Hip Hop bringing us hit after hit in the early 2000’s and he is setting up to bring those classics back.
The “Always on Time” rapper announced Monday that he will be rereleasing his whole catalog with all new music videos to accompany them. “I will be rereleasing ALL of my albums as visual albums,” Ja tweeted. “I will be making a video for every song I’ve ever made… what songs do y’all wanna see videos for???”

He also said he has a new album titled 12.Twelve.XII on the way that’s set to drop on Dec. 12. Fans were excited to hear the news, and one fan pointed out that the video for Ja Rule’s “Mesmerize” is already a classic and shouldn’t be remade. But the 43-year-old icon explained that he won’t shoot videos for songs that already have them.
Wait till I shoot if God were one of us… and I’m not shooting the songs that have vids already… https://t.co/YyHA3O6elJ

The news comes after the 18th anniversary of his classic, “I’m Real” the remix ft. J. Lo. Ja said he plans to shoot nearly 40 videos as fans continued to voice which of his old songs they would love to see visuals for. He went on to preview new music off his forthcoming project.
