Drake Brings Out Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Rick Ross At OVO Fest 2019

Drake closed out OVO Fest 2019 with a crazy lineup of surprise special guests.

Fans were skeptical of this year’s OVO Fest lineup when the only special guests advertised were the acts from the Millennium Tour like B2K, Pretty Ricky, and Ying Yang Twins. It was no shade to those throwback artists that we all love, but Drake was charging some pretty hefty prices for tickets to only feature acts that many fans just saw on tour at the beginning of this year. But OVO Fest attendees should have known Aubrey had some tricks up his sleeve.

Drake finished the festival Monday night by bringing out Cardi B, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyga, YG, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Gucci Mane and Offset, according to Complex.

Some of the artists dropped subtle hints throughout the day that they were headed to Toronto, but no one expected them to all hit the stage. Social media videos show Drake performing “No Guidance” with his former foe Chris Brown, and “Money in the Grave” for the first time with Rick Ross. And speaking of old foes, Drake tapped Meek Mill to perform their hit song “Going Bad.” Drake pretty much has songs with all of the above artists (3 of which he beefed with including Tyga), so it only makes sense that he would use his industry connections to put on an amazing show.

Aubrey was sure to show the women of the rap game some love by bringing out Cardi B and rising star Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi thanked Drake on twitter with a clip of her surprise entrance where she performed “Press.” The New York rapper said she would have a “CardiO” fest in the Bronx, but joked that her hometown doesn’t know how to behave.

Drake also brought out his good friend Dancehall’s own Popcaan to perform “Controlla.”

Drake set the stage with a mega-size NBA Championship trophy, only befitting for a concert in Toronto.
