Amerie just launched her comeback double album titled “4AM Mulholland” and “After 4AM.”
It’s been almost a decade since R&B singer Amerie released new music and during her hiatus, she got married and started a family. Her long break from making music is now over because her new album is now on iTunes/Apple Music and it sounds fire. The project features 13 tracks in total, with seven one “4AM Mulholland” and six on “After 4AM.”
In a recent interview with Billboard, Amerie spoke about her recording process saying that she didn’t try to limit herself for this project. “As I was recording, I wasn’t trying to limit myself in any way, I was feeling very, very creative—I had just came off of writing a new story and I wanted to go full-out into the recording process,” she said. “I didn’t want the album to be a smorgasbord of sound, it needs to have a vibe and that’s why there’s two projects.”
Her new projects follow her 2009 album “In Love & War.” Since that project, she was involved in several fantasy novels, and just recently she released a remix for Swae Lee’s “Guatemala.” Now you can listen to her new albums below.
