Quavo confirms rumors that he is breaking away from Migos to release a solo album in September.
For the past couple of months, rumors have been swirling that Quavo may be going solo. During an interview with Angie Martinez Show on Power 105.1 on Tuesday, the Atlanta rapper confirmed that he is dropping his debut solo album in September. Yes you heard that right, Honcho got a solo project on the way, but this doesn’t quite mean that he is leaving Migos or the group is breaking up.
Honcho revealed that his three-song EP is “an alley-oop for the biggest slam dunk in the game.” He told Angie Martinez that his new album is on the way and it’s going to be crazy. “It’s gonna be crazy. It’s on the way.” In a leaked footage from the interview, he added that the project would arrive next month.
Quavo also confirmed that Migos is still very much a group and Offset and Takeoff may have solo projects coming out later this year. “We all got some solo stuff in the bag, especially Takeoff, what he is about to come with is something crazy,” Honcho said.
It seems like all three members of Migos will be taking a break from the group to drop some solo projects. Should be some exciting times for the famous trio.
