Rich Homie Quan is now telling the true story behind a massive amount of songs between himself and Young Thug leaking online a few years ago.
Around 2014-2015, roughly 100 unreleased Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug songs popped up online and the mystery was never solved and now we know why. Quan opened up about the incident during his interview on Everyday Struggle on Thursday. Quan revealed that Birdman didn’t pay a studio and he believes that was the reason why the songs were leaked online.
This won’t be too hard to believe since Birdman is famous for not paying people, think Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled and more. This one of the times Birdman didn’t pay the studio, so the studio leaked all the music,” the Atlanta rapper said. “They said Bird didn’t pay them so they leaked all the songs, bro.” Quan said he got really mad whenever he sees the songs online because there were a few of them that he really liked that he thought would eventually make it to his album. “Once those two got leaked, I was like damn, those were going to be on the album,” he added.
Perhaps that also explains Rich Homie Quan’s sudden departure from Rich Gang, which he said was not an official group. There some rumors that he left the group because of money issues, but there was also a small feud between himself and Young Thug which may have been a result of his departure from Rich Gang.
