Drake main producer Noah “40” Shebib has stepped forward to address controversy over Kanye West involvement in “Two Birds, One Stone” a diss track aimed at Kid Cudi.
There are already tension between Kanye and Cudi inside their G.O.O.D. Music cap and this track only served to make things worst since Ye is on the production credits. 40 confirmed with Genius that he and Ye did co-produced the track but it was not a case where Ye deliberately sold out his label mate.

“Me and Kanye produced the track,” he said. “I made it from some drums he had given me. Not quite the elaborate story the world is looking for.”
Although Kanye West is listed on the credits as a “Lyricist”/“Writer” it doesn’t mean that he actually penned any of the actually lyrics. Producers are also listed in the credits as writers since they usually compose the beats and in a lot of cases mix and mastered the song.
Drake raised some eyebrows last week when he dropped the single on OVOSOUND Radio taking shots at Kid Cudi and Pusha T who are both G.O.O.D. Music artists.
