If there is any artist that deserves a biopic right now its Rihanna. The Bajan pop star has captivated fans around the world over the last decade and is still continuing to break boundaries in music and pop culture.
Film 45 just announced that it is producing a new Rihanna documentary. Deadline reported that the documentary will be a “contemporary take on the 1967 Bob Dylan rock doc Don’t Look Back.”

The film will give fans an unfiltered look into the pop star’s life growing up in her native Barbados to becoming a global icon.
So far there are no other details about the film like release date, but history has shown that these type of movies doesn’t usually take long to make.
Film 45 is run by Peter Berg, who gave Rihanna her first big screen break in 2012 with Battleship. Film 45 will now be focusing on non-scripted films and the Rihanna documentary will be among its first. Berg also runs another production company name Film 44 which will focus on movie and TV.
Rihanna is currently embarking on her ANTI World Tour to promote her latest album. She recently created history when she scored her 14th No. 1 single on Billboard Hot 100.
