Nicki Minaj is the “rap queen” at least according to Beyonce. The pop superstar serenades her new BFF in a new video clip posed on Nicki’s Instagram.
The video was shot while the two ladies were at their rehearsal in New York City for their performance at last week’s IDAL X: 1020 concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. They performed their collaborative single “Feeling Myself.”
Seems Beyonce was in a great mood because she sings to Nicki Minaj while calling the rapper the “rap queen.”
“I met this girl name Nicki / I guess you could say she was the rap queen,” Queen Bey sings. “I met her in the studio lobby / But her booty looked bigger in the magazines.”
Nicki Minaj was clearly smitten by the clip and bragged about it on Twitter.

She also sings about Nicki asking her to jump on a song with her saying that she couldn’t resist.
Nicki Minaj also shared some candid video footage of their rehearsal before taking that stage and it looks like they were having a lot of fun.
Nicki and Beyonce’s friendship has blossomed over the last couple of months since they did “Feeling Myself.”
