Kendrick Lamar shows no sign of slowing down his campaign against Drake.

The Compton rapper hopped on a new song with labelmate SZA, “30 For 30,” where he fired shots at another artist, leaving fans to point fingers at Drake. The R&B singer recently appeared on two songs off Kendrick Lamar’s surprised album, GNX, and now he has returned the favor for a guest spot on her project, LANA (SOS Deluxe), making him the only guest artist on the album.

SZA and Kendrick Lamar are wrapping up a big year in music, with the rapper riding a high tide from his beef with Drake and the R&B singer. Given her past relationship with Drake, all signs point to the Canadian rapper as the primary target of K.Dot, who raps about someone who she is close with.

“You f—in’ with n—as that’s thinkin’ they cuter than you, Say you on your cycle but he on his period too, the tenderness of ’em, mistaking ’em for some waygu,” Lamar raps on “30 For 30.” Coincidentally, Drake also has a song of the same name, “30 For 30 Freestyle,” leaving some fans to speculate she plotted the dig at the rapper with the song.

Kendrick Lamar also seemingly responds to Drake’s lawsuit against UMG in which Drizzy alleges that the label and Spotify engaged in a scheme to artificially inflate the streaming numbers for “Not Like Us,” making the diss song appear more popular than it really was. UMG and Spotify denied the allegation, but a judge set a court hearing on the matter for January.

“The tables been turnin’ so much, I was thinkin’ its foosball,” Lamar raps.

Kendrick Lamar has the biggest rap song of 2024 so far with “Not Like Us.” The song also earned five Grammy nominations for the West Coast rapper in the categories Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Music Video.

Fans have been reacting to K.Dot’s new bars with mixed feelings. “Drake fans in shambles yet again & Kendrick didn’t even mention buddy’s name. Projecting & misery is at an all time high,” one fan wrote. Another person said, “Imma give Kendrick the Benefit because this is 4 song since he said if he catch flight it would be direct but he been sneak dissing. So imma say none of these songs are about anybody.”
