Nigerian singer Burna Boy and American R&B artist Chloe Bailey from duo Chloe X Halle have sparked dating rumors after the two were spotted holding hands during a trip to Burna’s home city, Lagos, Nigeria.
Several photos and videos have been shared online by fans and local paparazzi in the African country showing Chloe arriving in the country and being picked up by Burna Boy at the airport.
While it’s likely that the pair might be collaborating musically, many many social media users are speculating that the pair might be dating as they appear cozy holding hands and Chloe appears to be travelling with little to no team support.
Chloe is seen being guided out of the airport and she smiles widely at fans, while in another clip she appears to struggle with a giant rose bouquet wrapped in pink paper. She also enters a waiting Mercedes Benz and blushes at fans.
Chloe appears comfortable in a skin tight black top and matching tights and a fanny pack. Later, she appears to swap her outfit for another more risqué see through set showing off her toned thighs while getting into Burna’s purple Lamborghini Aventador. The ‘African Giant’ artist is seen standing outside of the car after Chloe gets in. Other clips show them partying together in the club while red heart shaped balloons float in the background.
It’s unclear if the pair attended a private event as fireworks were seen going off as they drove off. In one clip, Burna is seen with his hand on Chloe’s thigh as they sit atop a couch in the club. They are also photographed holding hands while leaving the venue.
On social media, Chloe has maintained a quiet presence with no updates on her Instagram account. The same prevails for Burna Boy. However, Nigerian fans have flooded social media with photos and videos and even commentary on the couple’s alleged relationship.
“So Burna boy is the reason why Chloe Bailey is in Lagos,” one person wrote on Twitter. “Ahh! Burna boy and Chloe should please take it easy on us??. It’s the ODG chain for me on her neck,” another person tweeted. “Burna boy flying Chloe Bailey in to Nigeria on Steff London’s birthday has to be the biggest Villain move I’ve ever seen,” another said.
Burna Boy previously dated Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don while Chloe was rumored to be in a relationship with Atlanta rapper Gunna.
