Rapper Jay-Z is denying that he allegedly raped a 13-year-old at a VMAs after-party in 2000 alongside Diddy.

A lawsuit which was initially filed in October but re-filed last week by lawyer Tony Buzbee alleged that the victim, who is only identified as Jane Doe, was raped by both Diddy and Jay-Z, whose real is Shawn Carter, NBC News reported on Sunday, December 8.

Details of the filing have not been shared publicly as yet, but within minutes of news headlines reporting the heinous crime, Jay-Z released an impassioned defense as they called out the lawyer for attempting to blackmail him while also questioning the alleged victim’s motives in not filing a criminal complaint.

“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle,” the letter response seemingly written by Jay-Z said.

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!! These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case,” he continued.

The rapper also directed shots at the attorney, alleging that he goes after deep-pocket celebrities and that the attorney, who is a former Marine didn’t have “have neither honor nor dignity,” because he is pursuing the lawsuit.

A father of three (3), the rapper also shared that the report weighs heavily on his children Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir.

“My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain the cruelty and greed of people. I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit,” he wrote.

The rapper also flatly denied the allegation, writing, “I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the Brooklyn project. We don’t play these types of games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children; you seem to exploit people for personal gain.”

The lawsuit comes amid the racketeering case against Diddy, which alleges that for over two decades, he was the mastermind in a sex trafficking ring that involved drugging, kidnapping and raping men and women. Diddy is facing criminal charges and has also been sued civilly by some of the victims.
