Druski Experience Nostalgic Dancehall Party Seen In Jamaican

Druski and Rubi Rose

Druski gets a taste of a street dance in Jamaica this weekend.

The comedian and actor was on the island this week for the taping of his Coulda Been Records Kingston Jamaica Audition. Druski taps Shenseea and Popcaan for the event in Jamaica’s capital. However, it wasn’t all work and no play for the comedian in Jamaica. On Friday evening, the entertainer and his crew were spotted at a local street dance in Kingston, and things got wild pretty quickly.

Druski shared a few clips from the event showing a group of female dancers giving him a taste of the culture. “I need to leave this FREAKYASS ISLAND,” he said on X. Some local celebrities reacted to the clips while commending Druski for going into the ghetto to experience that side of Jamaican culture as opposed to going to the traditional tourist hot spots.

“Real ghetto party boss definitely pay fi dem whine deh pocket suppose to get shell weh. I respect this,” dancehall artist Stylo G wrote. Stefflon Don, Rvssian, Quavo, and I-Octane reacted with laughing emojis.

What started as a joke has become a somewhat serious venture for Druski as his Coulda Been Records have launched music careers this year. The comedian and Birdman previously got into a feud over his Coulda Been Records skit, but now he is traveling overseas looking for the next biggest artist.

After traveling to major cities in the United States, Druski recently touched down in Lagos, Nigeria, as he takes his Coulda Been Records Audition global. The comedian linked up with Davido for a memorable audition that brought laughter and showcased some real African talents. After his Jamaica edition, it’s unclear where he will host his next audition.

Druski was recently on Kai Cenat’s stream with Kevin Hart.
