Usain Bolt’s son is a huge Bob Marley fan.
The Jamaican sprint legend shares a sweet video of his son, Saint Leo Bolt, channeling his inner Bob Marley. The clip shows the toddler singing the lyrics to Bob’s classic “One Love” playing in the background. “One heart [heart emoji],” Usain captioned the video. The youngster was wearing locks with the traditional Rastafarian tam paired with a Hot Wheels white T-shirt.
The Olympian is a proud father of three after welcoming his first child, Olympia Lightning Bolt, with girlfriend Kasi Bennett in 2020. Usain and Kasi B. welcomed their twins, Saint Leo and Thunder Bolt, in 2021. The couple have been dating for years before welcoming their children.
“One Love” is one of Bob Marley’s biggest songs to date and is the unofficial Jamaican National Anthem. It’s no wonder Usain was beaming with pride seeing his son recite the lyrics to the reggae classic. Despite releasing in 1977, the song has a combined 300 million views on YouTube.
Aside from fatherhood, Usain Bolt is still dealing with the massive fraud that saw US$12 million wiped from his investment account at Stocks and Securities Limited. One person has been charged in the massive fraud case, but the sprint legend has yet to recover any of his missing funds two years after it was uncovered.
In venting about the issue on X recently, Bolt wrote, “Can we BANK on them to tell us? Or we not in the circle?” He added in another post, “Them know the price of everything but value of nothing. Heart broken so many words unspoken. Broken words not broken records.”
