Ray J is catching more heat for his comments about Diddy, this time from Nicki Minaj.
The R&B singer had a tense run-in with three of Diddy’s sons earlier this week at a Halloween party in Los Angeles. The confrontation, which almost turned ugly, was eventually broken up by Chris Brown after witnessing what was unfolding in the parking lot outside the venue. Wack 100 has since jumped in the mix to send warning shots at the three men for wanting to fight Ray J.
The former Love and Hip Hop star recently made some incendiary comments about Diddy amid allegations about the rap mogul’s behavior in the entertainment industry. He also threatened to expose other celebrities he is aware of who are doing similar things to what the Bad Boy Records rapper is accused of.
Following the incident with the Combs siblings, Ray J hopped on Instagram Live with Nicki Minaj to discuss what went down. Rather than taking his side, Nicki scolded the singer/reality TV star for what he said about the embattled rap mogul. Nicki was emphatic in her stance that what Ray J said was not funny, even if he intended it to be comedy.
“Do you think that’s funny?” Nicki asked the singer. “You seem like you’re joking about it when there are several people traumatized.”
Ray J admitted that his intention was not to make light of what happened to the real victims in the situation. He also doubled down on his previous comment that he knows of shady things happening in the industry behind closed doors. Still, Nicki Minaj pushed back, telling him to be mindful of the victims in his allegations.
In the meantime, the Combs siblings might’ve just been defending their father, who is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial date is set for May 2025, and so far, he has been denied bond on three separate occasions following his arrest in September on charges of racketeering, kidnapping, and sex trafficking. Prosecutors have indicated that more charges could be forthcoming as a grand jury continues to hear potential witness testimonies and review potential evidence in their investigation against him.
